Brief Curriculum
I was born in
Annecy, France, in 1977. I did my undegrad at
the
Université de Savoie in 2000, then I moved to the
Université d'Orsay (Paris sud) to get the DEA de physique
des solides et milieux denses in 2001.
From october 2001 to september 2005 I was a PhD student in Frédéric
MILA's group at the EPFL.
From october 2005 to october 2007 I was a post-doc at the
University of Waterloo in
Michel Gingras and
Tom Devereaux 's
group. In fact, I spent the Academic year 2005/2006
as a visiting scientist at the University of British
Columbia in Vancouver (to be more precise at the
Pacific Institute for
Theoretical Physics).
From november 2007 to september 2009, I was a Post-doc in
the Condensed Matter Theory Group at the
Paul Scherrer Institut in Villigen where
I was working with Bernard Delley,
and in close collaboration with the people at the
ADRESS beambline at the SLS.
Since september 2009, I accepted an assistant-professor position in Perpignan
(UPVD) where I started
working on nanomagnetism in
the S2N team.
