Brief Curriculum

I was born in Annecy, France, in 1977. I did my undegrad at the Université de Savoie in 2000, then I moved to the Université d'Orsay (Paris sud) to get the DEA de physique des solides et milieux denses in 2001.
From october 2001 to september 2005 I was a PhD student in Frédéric MILA's group at the EPFL. From october 2005 to october 2007 I was a post-doc at the University of Waterloo in Michel Gingras and Tom Devereaux 's group. In fact, I spent the Academic year 2005/2006 as a visiting scientist at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver (to be more precise at the Pacific Institute for Theoretical Physics). From november 2007 to september 2009, I was a Post-doc in the Condensed Matter Theory Group at the Paul Scherrer Institut in Villigen where I was working with Bernard Delley, and in close collaboration with the people at the ADRESS beambline at the SLS.
Since september 2009, I accepted an assistant-professor position in Perpignan (UPVD) where I started working on nanomagnetism in the S2N team.
